Alan Koons with Kona Disc Golf is a dedicated community volunteer who single handedly made himself the driving force to getting this course up and (almost fully) running. He wanted this course to benefit all the disc golf players on and off the island. He has truly been amazing inspiration and a pleasure to partner with. Alan Koons was honored to throw the first disc at the Kohala Winds Disc Golf course. The course is not completed quite yet however it is playable.
